Car rental, cab or VTC? Getting around Miami by car

If you want to be totally self-sufficient when traveling from Paris to Miami, renting a car is the best option. Traffic in Miami is fairly dense, but more fluid than in other major cities like Paris. And you'll easily find paid parking spaces along the way.

If you need a car on an occasional basis, for example to get home from a party, think of the mythical yellow cabs, which are a real attraction for foreign visitors. However, these vehicles are less numerous and more expensive than in New York. VTC companies, such as Uber and Lyft, are a preferred solution for getting around Miami by car. Public transport in Miami
