Prohibited items

Do you need to feel safe on the plane ? That’s why certain items are not permitted on board !

Regulation of the European Union N°185/2010 by the Commission on March 4, 2010

So as not to delay security procedures and to avoid your products being confiscated before boarding, please take the following information into consideration!

Passengers may not carry the following items in their checked baggage:
Explosive or incendiary substances or devices which could be used to cause serious injury or jeopardize the safety of an aircraft, in particular:

  • fuses
  • matches, lighters
  • chlorine, mercury
  • detonators and detonating cords
  • mines, grenades and other military explosives
  • fireworks and other pyrotechnics
  • bombs and smoke-generating cartridges
  • aerosols (with the exception of perfumes and medication)
  • paint
  • dynamite, powder and plastic explosives

Caution: For sanitary reasons, crew members cannot store or introduce any materials not specifically boarded and maintained in a sanitary means in the airplane fridge. This includes any passenger supplied items, such as child food, medication even if still in their original packaging.
Passengers must make appropriate pre-arrangements to handle their products.
